VocaPrompter (the “App”) treats user privacy as a core responsibility. This policy explains how the App handles and protects information.
1. Most important: voice and script data
Local processing of voice and script data
Speech recognition and script text are processed and stored on the user’s device whenever supported by iOS/iPadOS. The developer does not send, store, or collect these data on external servers operated by AuraMark Studio.
Depending on Apple’s specifications, if on-device speech recognition is disabled or unavailable for a language, audio may be processed by Apple servers under Apple’s privacy policy.
2. Information accessed for app functionality
- Microphone access
Used only to detect spoken audio and identify the current script position. The App does not save recordings. - Speech Recognition access
Used to convert microphone input into text and compare it with the script. - Local network access
Used for direct communication between a prompter device and a remote-control device through Multipeer Connectivity. This communication is peer-to-peer and does not pass through AuraMark Studio servers.
3. Third-party disclosure
The App does not collect personal information such as voice or script data. Therefore, it does not provide such personal information to third parties without user consent.
4. Analytics
For quality improvement, the App may use standard analytics provided by Apple, such as opt-in crash reports. These are handled under Apple’s privacy policy and do not include information that identifies a specific individual to AuraMark Studio.
5. Changes
This policy may be updated when laws change or new app features are added. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
